Merciful Beheading

Once upon a time I had a whole story based on a world where the population was all evolved from animals. In this world there was a band that I named Merciful Beheading because I think I had just recently gone to see Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. (Fans of Alan Rickman may remember that scene) Anyway, on this planet, mental powers are illegal. Three of the four band members have them, but hide in plain sight.

Black Janet, lead singer and telepath
Tusker, guitarist and telepath
Asudem, percussionist and is borderline feral
Oere, neural harpist and empath

They use their powers to put on a good show and stay ahead of the Mental Police. It was just fun to draw such old characters again.
